I can’t see the “Need to Reschedule” button. What do I do?
- If a reschedule button is not visible when trying to set a new date/time for your appointment, it is because your appointment is within 24 hours from your attempt. We do not charge any additional fees for reschedule requests that are further than 24 hours from the originally set date/time. If a reschedule request is attempted within 24 hours, from the original date/time, the reschedule button will be hidden and your request must be submitted via email to “support@homesellphotography.com” to then be changed by an account administrator.
Will I get charged for Rescheduling?
- We offer unlimited rescheduling events at zero cost per change. However, if the reschedule request is made with less than 24 hours notice, from the originally set date/time, a change fee of $45.00 will be added to your final balance. This balance must be paid upon delivery of your final photos.
Why do you charge for Reschedules within 24 hours and not before?
- Our Photographers have their routes optimized and finalized 24 hours prior to their daily appointments. This allows for more efficient routes to and from appointments. If a change is made within 24 hours of the originally scheduled time, the photographer’s route is then disrupted and idle time between appointments (or extra drive time leaving one location to then return nearby several hours later) is inevitable. The $45.00 change fee, for reschedules made within 24 hours from their original time, compensates for the accommodations that must be made to fit the new appointment into an already finalized route.
Can I get around the expensive late-change fee?
- You certainly can! Within the add-ons section on our booking page, we have a “Late Change Insurance” option for $5.00. If this add-on is purchased, with an appointment that needs to be rescheduled with less than 24 Hours notice, the $45.00 standard fee will be waived. Our “Late Change Insurance” add-on is non-refundable and acts just as the name implies; to protect from being charged the standard late change fee if a last minute reschedule is needed.
